Stress is the number one cause of disease and death and, unfortunately, no one is immune to it. (No matter how much we all want to be.) Like it or not, we are all susceptible to the physical effects of stress which, if not kept in check, can mount and seriously take a tole on your overall health - hence the whole “death” thing. Given what we now know about the devastating effects of stress, the importance of us each monitoring and working to reduce our individual levels makes a lot of sense.
